Polish beach volleyball players, Michał Kądzioła and Jakub Szałankiewicz, are ones of our best national representatives in this sport discipline. After successful junior career they are joining the world’s best seniors. Despite many responsibilities they find time to help people in need by supporting efforts of our organization.

When the volleyball players visited young patients of the oncology department of the Instytut Matki i Dziecka (Mother and Child Institute) the cooperation between them and the Herosi Foundation was established. This time Jakub and Michał, enjoying last sunny days, have visited another group of our wards – children from two Warsaw orphanages. Among many attractions prepared for our guests and wards, Michał Kądzioła gave dance class to the youngsters showing them the moves of the most famous choreography of this season, the true sensation of the Masuria Grand Slam tournament held this summer in Stare Jabłonki. The fun-filled afternoon ended up with a camp-fire

Each of them had to lead a team made up of small charges to victory in the Foundation’s volleyball match. Fun-filled afternoon ended with a common focus, when you do not run out of laughter and good humor.
