Gift from Stephen Antiga.
The French national volleyball player who also plays in PGE Skra Bełchatów was very fascinated with our charity work and gave us his original t-shirts and track suits in which he had played in French national team. Stephan Antigua gave us the big bag with the clothes just after the Match of Stars. We are soon to present teenage volleyball fans suffering from caner with these great gifts.
Volunteers from Heroes Charity participated in Match of Stars in Warsaw.
During the event they organized games and other kinds of amusement for children, thus popularizing sport as a pleasant form of leisure activities. Volunteers with the main organizers of this event organized a special contest for the fans during the break.
Our charity fulfilled one of Bartek’ s dreams.
Bartek is a teenager who has suffered for 3 years from bone-cancer. He had to have one leg amputated. He still has to be cured with the usage of chemotherapy. Bartek always wanted to meet the best Polish volleyball players. We helped him to do so. Together with our volunteers he went to Łódź where he had the opportunity to talk to the current Polish volleyball champion team – PGE Skra Bełchatów. The meeting took place in Grand Hotel. Bartek received fans' gadgets like team t-shirt, scarf, cap and posters. Next day Bartek and our volunteer went to the match of European Champions League. That day he could also observe Polsat TV journalists at work and meet Mr. Kułaga and Mr. Magiera – hosts at the sport show. Seeing Bartek's smile was a tremendously rewarding view.
Telephone call from(to) Marcin Wika.
Bartek (17 years old boy) big volleyball fan, who is being cured for cancer. Since the co-operation between our charity and volleyball players is in course, Bartek asked us for the official t-shirt of national volleyball team. He didn’t know that he would get the present with an extra bonus. National t-shirt was given by Plus (the main sponsor of Polish national team). The t-shirt was signed by all of the national volleyball players. When Aneta Rostkowska was giving this t-shirt, Marcin Wika (one of volleyball players from national team) phoned Bartek for a chat. Bartek seemed the happiest kid in the world…
Our volunteers, together with Polcomtel (mobile telephone operator) employees, visited children in Litewska street hospital in Warsaw.

Thanks to Żelisław Żyżyński, Aneta Rostkowska ( Vice-President of the Board of Directors) met with Giba, the best and the most famous volleyball player in the world.
Giba gave his consent to co-operate with Heros Charity. He even promised to come to Poland and visit, with our team, children in hospitals. Thanks to Katarzyna Fraś and Monika Sieniawska Giba’s training t-shirt was sent to us from Brazil. That t-shirt, with Giba’s autograph, will be sold by auction; the money received will be used to accomplish the targets of our charity. The winner of the auction will get this t-shirt from Giba in the middle of match Poland vs Brazil that will take place in Poland.
